Our Educational Philosophy

The Lutheran Nursery School is a non-profit, self-supporting program conducted as a community service project and sponsored by the Lutheran Church of the Cross. Our aim is to nurture spiritual and ethical ideals in the child, building within him/her a sense of security, a realization of his/her own worth and possibilities. We consider the children entrusted to our care a great responsibility and we work toward guiding them into satisfying, positive relationships with other children and adults…always keeping in mind that each child is an individual. We firmly believe that the greatest gift we can give to our children is time, and therefore, it is the essence underlining our program.
